From Page to Screen: American Fiction In-Person

Come watch a popular and recent movie that was adapted from a book! There will be a brief discussion of the book before the movie and, if time permits, a discussion about the movie adaptation. You do not need to read the book to enjoy the movie. This is a three-part book and movie series led by librarian Ben Hanley. Registration is recommended.

Tuesday, February 25 - American Fiction

The movie is based on Percival Everett's book, Erasure

A novelist who's fed up with the establishment profiting from Black entertainment uses a pen name to write a book that propels him into the heart of the hypocrisy and madness he claims to disdain.
