Masquerade Murder Mystery Night In-Person
Join Barrington Public Library for our first-ever Murder Mystery Night on Thursday, February 23 at 7 pm! The Peck Center (on the ground floor of the Library) will be transformed into the Bloodwood Castle Masquerade Ball. All attendees will be assigned a role to play and we will work together to solve the mystery.
This event is free and open to teens 14+ and adults. Each individual coming must register for themselves and have their own unique email address. All attendees are required to participate. Costumes are encouraged and masquerade masks will be provided by the library. Hors d'ourves and light refreshments will be served while supplies last.
Please only register if you actually intend to come and participate! The success of this event depends on enthusiastic attendee participation! This includes taking on the persona of an assigned character and mingling with strangers. If you register and are unable to attend, please notify us at 401-247-1920 x7 or email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible so we can open up to the waitlist.
The stage is set...
Bloodworth Falls is an isolated town full of scandal, blackmail, and deceit. The townsfolk bicker in the streets, and many believe the local government to be corrupt. Nevertheless, Daphne Raven is hosting a mysterious masquerade ball in the old Bloodwood Castle, and the tickets to the event have sold out in record time. The townspeople are curious to find out why the mayor would put effort into doing something positive in this town of gloom, but all are eagerly hunting for the perfect mask. You are worried about what will happen on this night when toxic people gather at the castle but you are even more alarmed, as you yourself didn't purchase your ticket - it was placed in your mailbox in an unmarked envelope. Somebody wants you there, but you don't know why. This is where your story begins...
This event is sponsored by The Friends of the Barrington Library.
