Get ready to see the library like you've never seen it before! Families are invited to join us for a special "Library After Dark" event on Friday, October 14 starting at 6 pm. We will have fun activities including a flashlight scavenger hunt in the Children's Room, a ghost costume contest, raffle, and more! Candy, popcorn, and light refreshments will be served (while supplies last).

Then at 6:30 pm we will be showing Casper (1995, rated PG) in the Salem Family Auditorium.

Because this is a special after-hours event, access to the library will be restricted to designated areas. Regular library services will not be available.

This event is designed for families with kids ages 5-14 to enjoy, but all ages and abilities are welcome. All kids must be accompanied by an adult.

About Casper

Casper is a kind young ghost who peacefully haunts a mansion in Maine. When specialist James Harvey (Bill Pullman) arrives to communicate with Casper and his fellow spirits, he brings along his teenage daughter, Kat (Christina Ricci).
