Living Literature Presents Firekeeper's Daughter

Living Literature Presents Firekeeper's Daughter In-Person

Living Literature celebrates its thirteen-year association with Reading Across Rhode Island in creating a 3-person, 45-minute readers theatre presentation of Firekeeper's Daughter, the debut novel from Ojibwe author Angeline Boulley.

A contemplative exploration of existing between two cultural identities meets romance meets backwoods thriller. But Firekeeper’s Daughter, the Reading Across Rhode Island 2022 book selection, is so much more than a thriller or a mystery. The author’s love for and connection to her culture is so deeply engraved into the very heart of this book, creating a deeply engaging mystery that illuminates far more than the expected whodunnit.

Join us for this special performance on Monday, May 16 at 7 pm in the Salem Family Auditorium.
