Literary Pairings Book Discussion Group In-Person
Literary Pairings Book Discussion Group generally meets the second Wednesday of the month from 7 to 8:30 pm from September through June in person, unless otherwise noted. Some meetings may be on Zoom, depending on weather. Participants will read an assigned classic one month followed by a contemporary readalike similar in theme, plot and/or characters the following month. Facilitators Nancy Christy and librarian Ben Hanley will lead the discussions and prepare questions. Participants are encouraged to bring their own questions as well.
The March/April pairing is If Beale Street Could Talk by James Baldwin and An American Marriage by Tayari Jones.
Please contact Ben Hanley at bhanley@barringtonlibrary.org or 401-247-1920 x2 to be placed on the waiting list.
