FULL Making a Teen Podcast: Sounds of the Library In-Person

Sound shapes how we experience the world. Remove it, and everything feels off. In a time when audiobooks and podcasts are booming, great audio matters more than ever.

Now’s your chance to create your own. Join award-winning audio expert Dr. Matt Boerum for Sounds of the Library, a hands-on, multi-part course where you’ll write, record, edit, and produce a professional audiobook-style podcast project from start to finish.

Use professional audio equipment, capture real library sounds, and learn both on-location recording and post-production from an active audio professional. In part two, you’ll add narration, mix your project, and present it live at the library auditorium—then learn how to publish it on Spotify for others to hear!

Create something immersive. Tell a story through sound!

Please register for our first meeting and discussion. Note — this is a multi-day project with 3 total meeting dates per group. Space is limited.
