Native Winter Seed Sowing Workshop In-Person
Learn how to grow your own native wildflower plants from seed with volunteers from the Barrington Pollinator Pathway on Monday, January 12 at 6 pm.
This is a hands on workshop in which you will sow some seeds to take home with you. Learn about what plants would work well in your yard, how native seed propagation is different from propagating other types of seeds, such as vegetables, and how to over winter your emerging plants. Growing from seed is easy and fun, will save you money, and will produce many plants! Seeds, soil, and pots will be supplied.
Please note: we are also offering an afternoon workshop at 2 pm. You can register for that workshop HERE. Please only register for one workshop!
Sponsored by the Barrington Pollinator Pathway, Barrington Land Conservation Trust, and Barrington Public Library.
