About the Documentary:

DEI-ing is a fearless deep dive into the chaotic, often performative world of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Guided by the sharp wit and unfiltered insights of Dr. Cheryl Ingram, this documentary cuts through the jargon and empty gestures to explore what real, meaningful DEI work looks like-and why so many organizations get it wrong. With raw storytelling and candid interviews from industry leaders, activists, and everyday people, DEI-ing sheds light on the systemic barriers that perpetuate inequality while celebrating the resilience and brilliance of those fighting for change. Equal parts thought-provoking and empowering, this film tackles the uncomfortable truths, challenges the status quo, and provides actionable solutions for building truly inclusive spaces. Whether you're a DEI skeptic or a passionate advocate, DEI-ing will leave you inspired, informed, and ready to ask: What does it really mean to do the work?
