Native Seed Sowing Workshop

Native Seed Sowing Workshop In-Person

Learn how to grow your own native wildflower plants from seed with volunteers from the Barrington Pollinator Pathway on Thursday, November 6 at 6:30 pm.

This is a hands on workshop in which you will sow some seeds to take home with you. Learn about what plants would work well in your yard, how native seed propagation is different from propagating other types of seeds, such as vegetables, and how to over winter your emerging plants.  Growing from seed is easy and fun, will save you money, and will produce many plants!  Seeds, soil, and pots will be supplied.

This program is lead by the Barrington Pollinator Pathway and sponsored by the Hameho Garden Club. This is a great chance to meet members of the Garden Club and learn more about their mission.

Free and open to adults. Registration is required. Space is limited.

Sponsored by the Barrington Pollinator Pathway, Barrington Land Conservation Trust, Hameho Garden Club, and Barrington Public Library.
