Spring Cookbook Club - Book Discussion

Spring Cookbook Club - Book Discussion In-Person

Adults are invited to join us for the Spring Session of cookbook club! This group will meet twice for the Spring Session on Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30 pm for our cookbook discussion and again on Tuesday, April 22 at 6:30 pm for our potluck dinner. Both meetings will take place in the Collis Family Gallery on the second floor of the library.

In our first meeting, we will discuss the author, book introduction, layout, and recipe map, and then set the menu for the next meeting and decide who will bring what. Then for our second meeting, everyone will make a dish at home, and bring it to our potluck dinner.

You must attend BOTH sessions! When you register below you are signing up for both days - April 8 and April 22.

The book for Spring 2025 is Korean American: Food That Tastes Like Home by Eric Kim. Once you register, you can pick up a copy of the book at the Circulation Desk. You can also purchase the book yourself if you wish. Please have your book ready for the Tuesday, April 8 meeting. You will be expected to have read the Introduction, pages 14-25, and the introductions to each section, as well as at least skimmed through the rest of the book. It would be helpful if you also had a general idea of which dish(es) you would like to make.

Free and open to adults.

Group Guidelines:
