Lerner and Loewe’s adaptation of George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, about a professor of phonetics who teaches a Cockney flower girl proper elocution so that she can pass for a cultured lady at an embassy ball. With Rex Harrison, Audrey Hepburn, Stanley Holloway. Winner of 8 Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
