Historical Fiction Book Discussion Group In-Person

New book group alert! The Historical Fiction Book Discussion Group meets in the fall to discuss historical fiction works. We will dive into the book’s literary merit and historical elements. Discussion questions will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring their own research and insight into the work’s subject. This is a three-part series led by librarian Ben Hanley. Registration is required.

September 24 - Horse by Geraldine Brooks
October 29 - The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead
December 3 - Crow Mary by Kathleen Grissom

Library staff are available to help participants obtain library copies of each book, but it is ultimately the responsibility of each participant to secure their own copy of the book.
