This Land Is Your Land In-Person
Celebrate Earth Month with a journey through hundreds of acres of natural open space preserved by the Barrington Land Conservation Trust and the Town of Barrington. This event will be held in the Salem Family Auditorium on Wednesday, April 24 at 7 pm.
Through photos and stories, we’ll discover the hidden gems of forests, fields, and coastal properties that have been preserved for future generations. How do these natural places benefit you? What is the history of these places? Why are some open to the public, while others are only open for guided tours or open only for stewardship and research activities?
Participate in a discussion on the value of open space in our community and the challenges associated with preserving it in a lasting way. The presentation will be led by Land Trust Board Members and Property Stewards with intimate knowledge of the lands under their stewardship.
The presentation and discussion will last an hour, followed by a half-hour reception with food and drink. Free and open to all.
