Solar Eclipse Viewing Party In-Person
Join us on Monday, April 8 from 2-4 pm for a solar eclipse viewing party sponsored by Barrington Public Library and Barrington Recreation Department.
We will have free eclipse glasses (first come first serve) available for attendees on the Town Hall Lawn where guests are welcome to gather to view the eclipse. Those interested in viewing a live stream of the full eclipse can stop by the Salem Family Auditorium anytime during the viewing party.
Please note: Barrington is NOT in the path of totality for this solar eclipse. The eclipse is set to be visible over Barrington between 2:14 pm to 4:38 pm. The midpoint of the eclipse will be at approximately 3:27 pm. Due to the weather, we cannot guarantee that the eclipse will be visible if there is cloud cover. However, this will still be a fun and educational afternoon!
Free and open to all. No registration required.
