The First Annual Spooky Story Contest In-Person
Like to write scary tales? Then this is the contest for you! Submit an original story of 1000 words or less with a spooky or thriller theme. Categories are as follows: Grades 6 - 8th and Grades 9 - 12th. One winner and runner-up from each category will be selected.
Entries must include: Title, Author (first & last name), Author's grade & Author's email and phone number.
One entry per person. Stories can be emailed to Tanya@barringtonlibrary.org OR hand delivered to the library.
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO THE END OF THE DAY ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31!
Winners will be notified the following week. Cash prizes sponsored by the Friends of Barrington Library. $50 first place (plus special trophy) and $25 runner-up, respectively
