On the Emerald Isle Film Lecture Series: Brooklyn In-Person
Join Librarian Doug Swiszcz on an adventure to the Emerald Isle for his March film lecture series on Wednesdays at 1 pm in the Salem Family Auditorium. Doug will give a brief pre-film commentary.
Free and open to all. Registration recommended.

Saoirse Ronan plays an Irish immigrant who lands in 1950s Brooklyn, where she quickly falls into a romance with a local. When her past catches up with her, however, she must choose between two countries and the lives that exist within each. Based on the novel by Colm Toibin. Also starring Jim Broadbent and Julie Walters.
