Valentine's Film Lecture: Romeo and Juliet In-Person
Love (and tragedy) is in the air! Join Doug Swiszcz on Wednesday, February 14 at 1 pm for a special Valentine's Day showing of the 1968 classic, Romeo and Juliet. Doug will give a short pre-film commentary. Attendees will also receive a special Valentine's treat after the film.
Franco Zeffirelli's acclaimed adaptation of Shakespeare's classic drama about two "star-crossed lovers" who come from feuding families in 16th-century Verona, Italy is enhanced by Nino Rota's score and the sumptuous costumes and lush locations. Starring Olivia Hussey, Leonard Whiting, and Michael York.
