Movie summary: Five-year-old Saroo gets lost on a train that takes him thousands of miles across India, away from home and family. Saroo must learn to survive alone in Kolkata before ultimately being adopted by an Australian couple. Twenty-five years later, armed with only a handful of memories, his unwavering determination, and a revolutionary technology known as Google Earth, he sets out to find his lost family and finally return to his first home.

About the group: We'll read a book and discuss it together in one month. Then, we'll gather together in the next month to watch the movie adaptation in our library's auditorium. Overall, there will be three books and their adaptations for a total of six meetups. The book night will be a discussion group style, while the movie night will be open to everyone.

When we meet: We will meet on the fourth Tuesday evening of every month (January through June). The book night will meet at 7 pm in person (unless otherwise noted) in January, March, and May. The movie night will meet at 6:30 pm in the library's auditorium in February, April, and June. There will be a discussion following the movie. Movie night attendees are not required to stay for the discussion. 

How to join: Registration is required for the book night discussion. Registration is recommended for the movie night. Free and open to adults.
